About the Founder

Jacob Tatom was born in Aurora, Colorado and for many years, Jacob was a four-sport athlete who played basketball, football, lacrosse, and Taekwondo.

In 2018, Jacob moved across the country to Maine where he started his journey.

After high school, Jacob majored in Nutrition to fulfill his dreams of becoming a health coach and a personal trainer. Currently as a motivational speaker,  Jacob strives to help people succeed in any way he can which is why he started Streets in the first place to create a positive and long-lasting impact that will inspire many through the art of Basketball.

Background on Streets

Streets was founded in July of 2022 at the outdoor Windham basketball courts. Streets earned its name for the beginning of every hooper's journey where worn Jordans meet the cracked pavement and memories are made through pickup games from aggressive and fun play. Streets also aims to build and renovate courts to give kids an escape from a troubled home life and a chance and space to achieve their dreams. Tournaments vary upon season and location; however, with the same aim to bring the community together through the art of basketball to create a lasting impact on helping people in need.
